Book Axe Throwing

What is an Axe Throwing Experience??

Believe it or not, we provide a safe environment for you to throw axes.

We have six lanes and an instructor / safety advisor with you throughout the experience. They’ll show you the safe and proper way to throw an axe, as well as a few fancy throws to try, and then they’ll set you up for some games to play.

What happens on the day?

On arrival you will check in with the team. We’ll take you to your dedicated lane and our instructor / safety advisor will guide through the do’s and don’t and how to throw an axe.

You can order food and drinks from the table.

What should I wear?
  1. NO open toe footwear, you will not be able to participate.
  2. If you have shoulder length or longer hair, it should be tied up into a bun or short pony tail alternatively you can wear a hat/cap.
What is the Age/Height Policy?

Due to the nature of the business, our insurance requires the youngest participant to be at least 10 years old.

PLEASE NOTE: We may ask to see some form of verification of proof of age – a Passport would be best.

Is it safe?

Our instructors/safety advisors are there to ensure you have a great time and everyone stays safe, however, some common sense is required from you.

Who would of thought jumping out of a plane with a big bed sheet in a backpack would be a good idea?

Can I bring my own axe/hatchet?

Sorry, no

Our axes have been tested and approved for our venue and activities.

Are there any rules I should know?

Our instructors will go through these with you before you start but:

  1. No one under the age of 10 will be permitted to participate in axe throwing.
  2. Kids 8-15 must be with a participating parent or guardian over the age of 18.
  3. Acting like a wally of any kind is strictly prohibited. Such behaviour may lead to your removal from the venue, without a refund.
  4. All guests must respect Rage Out staff and other players at all times. Any harassing behaviour will not be tolerated.
  5. You cannot throw with open-toe shoes. Only closed-toe are acceptable.
  6. You must not throw axes at any target being used by another player at the same time.
  7. Players will not throw axes at any targets not designated to their group.
  8. If you do not demonstrate the ability to safely handle or throw axes, you will not be allowed to participate in further and will asked to spectate or leave.
  9. No one on site will interfere with a thrower in any way when they are throwing or preparing to throw an axe. Interference will result in removal from the venue.
  10. Spectators shall remain outside of the identified throwing area, which is defined by the coach and a thick red line.
  11. Axes must not leave the identified throwing area, we operate a 3 strike policy. Your 3rd strike is removal from the venue.
